Lego plastic rod to engage the shutter mechanism

With the meter removed, this gives us the space to engage the shutter mechanism from above via the battery test button opening
Found a suitable plastic Lego rod that had the perfect diameter

A New Shutter Switch (Electrical)

Remove the Shutter button lock when in close position arm
Cutting in half to create space for the wires to go underneath (switch and LED)
Setting a mark
build a simple switch using unused parts
The original switch copper connectors above

Fly the wires (black & orange) to the new switch.

1/250th sec Manual Mode (Replace ISO 800 selector as a switch)

This behavior was first discovered when I was testing & turning the ISO dial and noticed that the shutter speed sounded fast when the dial was in between settings of 400 and 800 or between 50 and 100. After some research, by insulating the ISO 800 copper contact, the shutter fires at a consistent 250th sec.
